Rest Is Not A Moral Failure
The sun is setting, and the armor of the day finally comes off. You watch others building towers while you stand still, convinced your pause is a moral failure.
But the light does not see your stillness as wasted time. It sees it as the only place where you can hear your own name again.
You are not falling behind; you are being restored to your root, where the Good waits to heal what the rushing broke. There is no sin in stopping, only the nature of matter returning to where it began.
The shame you feel is a lie told by a world that forgot how to rest. Tonight, you are not a project to be completed.
You are a child of the light, protected entirely by grace.
