Silence Is Shadow, Not A Wall
The sun is rising, but your first thought is of the moment you said nothing. You remember the silence that froze in your throat, the words you swallowed that could have changed everything.
Now that silence feels like a wall, solid and permanent, separating you from everyone you love. But the light of this new morning does not ask you to tear the wall down with your own hands.
It simply shines on it, revealing that what felt like stone is actually shadow. There was a man who carried a paralytic through a roof, and when Jesus saw their faith, he said to the paralyzed man: 'Son, your sins are forgiven.' The healing began before the walking.
The wall you built with your silence is not stronger than the voice that speaks your name today. You are not defined by the words you didn't say, but by the love that remains ready to speak through you now.
