The Light Does Not Require Perfection
The sun is rising, and with it comes the old fear: if I stop performing, if I let them see the real me, they will walk away. You have spent the night building a mask you think they need, convinced that your authenticity is too heavy for anyone to carry.
But look at the light returning to the sky—it does not hide its brightness to make the world comfortable. It simply shines.
There was a father who saw his son coming home from a long way off, covered in the dirt of his own making. He did not wait for the boy to clean up.
He ran. Before the apology, before the speech—he ran.
The light does not require you to be perfect to be loved. It requires you to be present.
Your true self is not the reason they will leave; it is the only reason they can stay.
