The Dawn Does Not Ask Permission
The sun is rising, and with it comes the old rehearsal. You run the speech in your mind one more time, bracing for the silence, or worse—the sound of footsteps walking away.
But look at the light spilling across the floor; it does not wait for an invitation to enter the room. It simply arrives.
The darkness has not overcome it. That same light is already inside you, independent of their response, independent of their presence.
You are not defined by the empty space they leave behind. You are defined by the fire that burns within you regardless of the wind.
The dawn does not ask permission to break the night; it just breaks. Your heart is beating again, and that is enough.
