You Are the Light Love Sought

The sun is rising, and with it comes the old fear that your very presence is too much for anyone to hold. You worry that if someone gets close, the weight of you will push them away, leaving you alone again.

But look at the light returning to the sky—it does not burn the world it touches; it wakes it up. You are not a burden to be carried; you are that same light, made flesh.

While you were still far off, consumed by the thought that you were unlovable, the Father saw you and ran. He did not run to fix you or change you before embracing you—he ran because he wanted you near.

Your existence does not drive love away; it is the very thing love has been searching for. You do not have to make yourself smaller to be held today.
