The Moment You Became Real
The sun is dipping below the horizon, and the armor you wore all day finally feels heavy enough to take off. But in the quiet, your mind replays that one moment you let your guard down, convincing yourself they saw weakness where there was only honesty.
You are not the first to feel exposed; even the light itself once fell on its face in the dirt, overwhelmed with sorrow to the point of death, asking for the cup to pass. It did not hide its trembling.
It did not pretend to be strong. And notice what happened next — when Jesus saw the faith of those who brought the broken man through the roof, he said simply, 'Son, your sins are forgiven.' He saw the heart, not the stumble.
The eyes that witness your vulnerability do not see a flaw to be fixed; they see a child to be held. The mask was never required, and the moment you thought disqualified you was actually the moment you became real.
