The Light Is Already There
The sun is dipping below the horizon, and with it comes that familiar tightness in your chest—the fear that tomorrow will arrive exactly like today. That the sun will rise on the same struggle, the same silence, the same unchanged life.
You are exhausted from carrying the weight of a future you cannot control. But listen: the day is ending, and you are allowed to put the armor down.
You do not have to solve tomorrow tonight. There is a story of a father who saw his son coming home from a long way off.
He did not wait for the speech or the apology. He ran.
Before the boy could explain himself, before he could promise to change, the father was already there, arms open, breathless with love. That same love is waiting for you when you wake up.
It does not depend on your circumstances shifting. It depends only on the light that lives inside you—the very light that lived in Jesus—being there before you even open your eyes.
The panic says nothing will change. The light says: I am already there.
