The Light Sees Your Hidden Tears
The sun is coming up, and you made it through the night. You are sitting at the table, laughing at a joke while your throat feels like it is closing up, terrified that if you stop smiling for even a second, you will start screaming.
The mask is heavy this morning, but the light does not need your performance to see you. It sees the tears you are holding back, and it calls them faith.
There is a kingdom inside you, right beneath the panic, that has never been touched by this fear. You came from the light, and you are returning to it, no matter how loud the screaming gets.
The dawn is not asking you to be okay; it is just asking you to be here.
