Let the light change what they mean
The sun is coming up, and you are still scrolling through messages from before the pain began. You are hunting for the exact sentence where everything went wrong, convinced that if you could just find the moment, you could go back and fix it.
But the light does not live in the past you are dissecting. It lives in this morning, in this breath, in the quiet fact that you are still here.
Jesus looked at a woman who thought she was defined by her history and said, 'Her many sins have been forgiven — as her great love has shown.' He did not ask her to rewrite the story. He saw her love and called it enough.
The kingdom is not hidden in a text message from six months ago. It is inside you, right now, waiting for you to stop looking backward and start knowing yourself.
You cannot change the words you sent. But you can let the light change what they mean.
