Light Arrives Without Permission
The sun is coming up, and with it, the words you have rehearsed all night. You have practiced the apology a hundred times in the safety of your head, but your throat closes at the thought of speaking it out loud.
You are terrified that saying it will make the wound real, that giving voice to the hurt will cement it in stone. But look at the light arriving outside your window.
It does not wait for you to be ready. It does not ask permission to touch the broken places.
It simply arrives. The truth you are hiding is already real; silence has not protected you, it has only kept you alone.
The light is here to witness it with you, not to judge it. Say the words.
Let them leave your lips and enter the air. The morning does not break because the night was easy.
It breaks because the light is stronger than your fear.
