He Kneels Beside Your Tears
The sun has set, and the armor you wore all day finally hits the floor. Now the silence rushes in, and with it, the tears you held back until no one could see.
And there it is—the secret fear that these tears are just selfish disappointment, a private tantrum that God is too polite to call out. You brace yourself for the correction, the gentle reminder that you should be grateful instead of grieving.
But the light does not scold you for being human. It kneels.
There was a woman who stood behind him, weeping so hard she wet his feet with her tears, and he did not ask her to stop. He did not tell her to compose herself.
He saw the flood and called it faith. Your tears are not a sign that you are failing; they are the proof that you are finally honest.
The mask is off. The performance is over.
And in this quiet room, the only thing God sees is a child who has carried too much for too long. The tears are not selfishness; they are the sound of the heavy thing breaking.
