You Are Known Even When Misunderstood
The sun has gone down, and with it, the energy it takes to translate your pain into words someone else might understand. You tried to tell them what happened.
You watched their eyes glaze over, or worse, shrink your story down until it fit comfortably in their worldview. They minimized it because your depth unsettled their shallow water.
But listen — the light does not need your explanation to validate your suffering. There is a truth living inside you that no one else can edit.
It was there before you spoke a word, and it remains when the room goes silent. You do not have to convince anyone that the wound is real.
The light already knows the shape of it. It is not waiting for your defense; it is simply sitting with you in the dark, holding the space they refused to occupy.
The verdict of the crowd does not change the reality of what you carry. You are known, even when you are misunderstood.
