The sun has gone down, and with it, the energy to explain why you went quiet. You let the phone stay dark because the words felt too heavy to lift, and now the silence feels like a failure.

But the light does not need your performance to remain present. There is a rest that is not earned, a peace that does not require your participation to exist.

You do not have to justify your exhaustion to the One who formed you from dust. The Father knows the weight of your day better than you do, and He is not waiting for an apology.

He is simply waiting for you to stop. The armor was never meant to be worn to bed.
