You Were Made for Presence Not Utility
The sun has gone down, and the house is quiet enough for the lie to speak up. It tells you that you are only as good as what you produced today.
That your worth is a ledger of tasks completed, problems solved, and feelings managed for others. But the light that lives inside you does not keep score.
It was there before you ever did a single useful thing, and it will be there when you can do nothing at all. There is light within a person of light, and it lights up the whole world—not because of what that person achieves, but because of what they are.
You were not made to be a tool. You were made to be a vessel.
The utility was never the point. The presence was.
