Rest Your Hand, The Light Is Working
The sun has gone down, and the house is finally quiet. You find yourself touching the spot on your cheek again, searching for a difference that isn't there yet.
An hour ago it felt the same, and now it feels the same, and the stillness feels like stagnation. But the light does not work by the clock, and it does not announce its arrival with a shout.
It moves like a seed in the dark soil, growing all by itself while you sleep. You do not have to manufacture the change or force the healing to happen tonight.
The work is being done in the silence, in the space between your breaths, where no one can see it but the One who knows. Rest your hand.
The change is coming, even if your skin cannot feel it yet.
