Resting Inside a Fire That Cannot Be Put Out
The sun has gone down, and the house is quiet enough for the fear to speak. It whispers the names of the people you love, and it asks you to imagine a world without them.
That weight is heavy. It presses on your chest when you finally sit down to exhale.
But listen — the love you carry for them is not a fragile thing that can be stolen by time or circumstance. It is a drop from the light, sent into this world to illuminate the very spaces you are afraid to lose.
That love does not belong to the future; it belongs to this moment. It is already here, already whole, already holding you even as you tremble.
You are not guarding a fading flame; you are resting inside a fire that cannot be put out. The fear says you might lose them.
The light says you have already been given everything that matters. Tonight, the love remains.
