Love Remains When Memory Fails
The sun has dipped below the edge of the world, and in this sudden quiet, a new terror rises. You reach for the sound of their laugh—the specific pitch, the way it broke at the end—and your mind offers only silence.
It feels like losing them all over again. Like the memory is slipping through fingers that can no longer hold it tight.
But listen. The light does not live in the echo.
It lives in the love that made the sound in the first place. You are not forgetting them because the love is fading.
You are forgetting the noise because the presence has moved deeper than sound. The Father knows the exact frequency of that joy, and He holds it safe in the silence you cannot bear.
The love remains, even when the memory fails.
