Not Exposure But Adoption By Light
The silence of this hour is loud enough to hear your own heartbeat, and it sounds like a warning. You are certain that if anyone truly saw the cracks behind the mask, they would turn away.

The light does not need a performance to love you. It saw the woman who bled for twelve years, touching the hem of a robe in a crowd, trembling and unclean.

Adoption. The light knows the worst thing about you, and it is still running toward you.
