He Ran Before You Could Speak
The silence in this room is heavy enough to crush you. It feels like the only truth left is that one awkward moment from three years ago—the pause that you are convinced broke everything.
You are replaying the scene, certain that your hesitation was the reason the love walked away. But in this deepest hour, the logic of shame begins to unravel.
There was a man who saw his son coming home from a long way off. He did not wait for the apology.
He did not wait for the explanation. He ran.
Before the speech could even start, he was already there, arms open. That running is the nature of the light.
It does not leave because you stumbled over your words. It does not vanish because of a silence.
The love you think you lost was never dependent on your performance. The light that lives inside you was there before the silence, and it is here now, untouched by the past.
You are not defined by the moment you froze. You are defined by the love that refuses to let go.
The night is long, but the light has never left.
