The Light Leans Closer To Your Fear
The silence in the room feels heavy enough to crush you. You are terrified that your need for reassurance is driving them away, so you hold your breath and wait for the sound of footsteps leaving.
But the light does not retreat when you are afraid. It leans in closer.
There is a voice that says: do not let your hearts be troubled. Not because you have stopped needing, but because the One who holds you is not afraid of your hunger.
You are not pushing love away by asking for it. You are simply revealing how much you need to be held.
And the hand is already there, waiting for you to stop hiding it. The panic says you are too much.
The truth says you are exactly enough.
