The Light Remains When The Echo Fades
The silence after their sigh is the loudest thing in the world. It rolls over you, heavy and final, casting you as the villain in a story you thought you were both writing together.
In this hollow hour, the accusation feels like the only truth left. But there is a voice that does not speak in sighs.
A voice that entered the prison of your forgetting and said: 'He who hears, let him get up from the deep sleep.' You are not the monster they see in the dark. You are the one being called by name.
The light that lives inside you was there before the disappointment, and it will remain long after the story ends. It does not agree with their verdict.
It simply waits for you to remember that you are not defined by the role they assigned you tonight. The echo fades.
The light remains.
