The Light Sees Your Silence
The shower steam clears, and the perfect sentence you rehearsed dissolves before you even reach the door. You swallow the truth again when you see their face, trading your voice for the safety of the mask.
But the light does not need your performance to see what is real. It saw the words you didn't speak.
It heard the sentence you silenced. And it knows the weight of the thing you are carrying alone.
There was a man born blind, and the world asked who sinned to make him that way. Jesus said neither — this happened so the works of God might be displayed in him.
Your inability to speak is not a failure. It is the space where the light is already working.
Go home to your own people and tell them how much the Lord has done for you, and how he has had mercy on you. You do not have to find the perfect words.
You only have to tell them what you know.
