The Light Does Not Need Sending
The screen lights up in your hand, a small observation ready to be sent, and then the silence hits you when you realize there is no one to send it to. The thumb freezes.
The message dies before it leaves the draft folder. In this gathering dark, the loneliness feels like a physical weight, pressing against your chest.
But the light does not require an audience to be real. It does not need to be transmitted to exist.
It is already within you, burning quietly, independent of who sees it. You are not defined by the empty contact list or the unsent words.
The kingdom is not a network of people you can reach; it is a presence that lives inside you, right now, in this quiet room. You do not need to send the text to be held.
The light knows the observation already. It heard it the moment you thought it.
