Light Under the Stone of Shame
The screen lights up in the dark, and there it is—the name that turns your stomach before you even read the letters. You know you won't call back.
You know you can't. The silence between you and that name feels like a wall you built yourself, brick by heavy brick.
But listen—the light does not demand you climb it tonight. There is light within a person of light, and it lights up the whole world, even the parts you are afraid to face.
If you do not bring forth what is within you right now, it will not destroy you; it will wait. The light is already there, under the stone of your shame, split open in the wood of your silence.
You do not have to fix the broken connection to be held by the One who never let go.
