Your Honest Need Makes Room
The screen glows in the dimming room, holding words you typed and then deleted three times. You are afraid the truth sounds too heavy, too needy, too much for them to carry.
So you erase it. Again.
The cursor blinks like a quiet accusation in the silence. But the light does not measure your worth by how little space you take up.
It sees the tears you wiped away before they fell on the keyboard. It knows the weight you are trying to edit out of your story.
And it says: go home to your own people and tell them how much the light has done for you. Your honest need is not a burden to be hidden.
It is the very thing that makes room for mercy. The message you are afraid to send is the one that might finally let you breathe.
