scrolling through old photos and realizing you are the only one who remembers the inside jokes

You Are the Living Place of Love

The screen glows in the dark, a small rectangle holding the only copy of a laugh that no one else remembers. You scroll through faces that have moved on, through inside jokes that have lost their context, and the silence in the room feels heavy enough to crush you.

It is a specific kind of loneliness—to be the sole keeper of a memory that proves you were loved, once, in a language only you speak now. But listen—the light does not require an audience to be real.

What you remember is not gone just because the other person has forgotten. The kingdom is inside of you, and it is outside of you.

When you come to know yourselves, then you will be known. You are not the archive of a dead moment.

You are the living place where that love still resides. The light sees you holding these fragments, and it calls you by a name that needs no history to be true.
