The Light Sitting Beside You in the Glow
The screen glows in the 4am dark, a small rectangle holding all the evidence you need to condemn yourself. You scroll back through the words, hunting for the exact sentence where the care evaporated, where the tone shifted from warm to distant.
Your heart acts as the prosecutor, listing every mistake, every silence, every reason you are no longer worth keeping. But there is a knowing deeper than your own knowing, and it does not agree with your verdict.
God is greater than your heart. He sees the whole story—the fear behind your words, the love you couldn't express, the ache that made you clumsy—and He knows everything.
The light is not scanning your history for errors. It is sitting beside you in the glow, whispering that you are known completely and loved anyway.
