The Light Knows Your Secret Fear
The scream dies in your throat before it becomes a sound, leaving you trembling beside someone who only sees you rubbing your eyes. You say it was just a dream, a fleeting shadow, while the terror still claws at your ribs and the mask of okayness slides back into place.
But the light does not need you to perform peace or explain the nightmare away. There is a mercy that waits in the quiet of your secret room, a presence that sees what is done when the door is closed and the performance ends.
You do not have to carry the weight of the pretense into the day. The light that lives inside you already knows the shape of your fear, and it is not afraid of what you saw.
It is not waiting for you to be brave; it is waiting for you to be real.
