The Light Was Yours Before They Spoke
The room is warm, the air conditioning humming, and you are holding your breath while your idea sits on your tongue. Then someone else speaks it.
They get the nod. You get the silence.
And you swallow your own voice to keep the peace. This is the long middle of the day — where the spirit feels thin and the performance feels thick.
You wonder if the light even notices the things you never say. But listen — the light was already there before the words were formed.
It does not need the credit to be real. It does not need the applause to exist.
There is a quiet knowing inside you that no one can steal. The world may miss the source, but the source knows itself.
You are not defined by who gets the credit. You are defined by the light that generated the thought in the first place.
It was yours before it was theirs. And it will be yours long after the meeting ends.
