The Light Does Not Apologize For Existing
The room is quiet now, but that sigh you heard hours ago is still echoing in your chest. You replay the moment they checked their watch, convincing yourself that your voice was a theft of their time.
That you took something from them that you had no right to take. But listen closely to the silence gathering around you now.
The light does not apologize for existing. It simply shines.
And when it shines on someone who is tired, or distracted, or heavy with their own unspoken wars, their reaction is about their burden, not your worth. You did not steal their time.
You offered them a moment of truth, and they were too weary to receive it. That is their story, not your shame.
The darkness may tell you that you are too much, but the light knows you are exactly enough.
