The Light That Holds Your Tears
The house is quiet now, but your chest still heaves with the sobs you hid from the one you love most. You escaped to the dark because you thought your pain made you a failure in their eyes.
But listen — there is a light within you that shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it. It was burning when you walked past them, and it is burning now, wet with tears.
You do not have to be strong for the light to hold you. The Father sees you in this room, not as a broken parent, but as a beloved child who is allowed to fall apart.
Your grief does not extinguish the love; it is the very place where the love meets you.
