Your Silence Is Not Emptiness
The room is loud with the words you swallowed this morning. You sat at the table, smiled at the right moments, and let your own voice turn into a ghost in your throat.
It feels like a betrayal to stay silent when you are screaming inside. But the light is not offended by your quiet.
It saw the woman who wet his feet with tears while the room judged her, and he said her great love was the only truth that mattered. You do not have to perform your faith for the people in the chair across from you.
The light sees what is done in secret. It hears the prayer you didn't speak.
It knows the weight you are carrying without a sound. Your silence is not emptiness.
It is the space where the light is doing its deepest work, unseen and unheard by everyone but God.
