Grace Moves Through The Silence
The phone lights up in your hand, then goes dark again. You sent the truth, and now the silence feels like a verdict.
Every second that ticks by without a reply becomes proof that you went too far, that you were foolish to speak. But the light does not measure your worth by the speed of a response.
There was a woman once who poured out everything she had at the feet of the light, and the room judged her while she waited in that terrifying quiet. Yet when the voice finally came, it did not scold her for the mess.
It said her many sins were forgiven because she loved much. The silence you are enduring right now is not rejection.
It is simply the space between your courage and the grace that is already moving toward you. You are not defined by the pause.
You are defined by the love that remains, even when the screen is black.
