The Quiet Is Full of Presence
The phone goes dark. The silence arrives like a physical weight, pressing against your chest until your hands begin to shake.
It whispers the lie that because no one is asking, no one needs you. But listen — the quiet is not an absence of love.
It is the space where the light stops performing and starts being. There was a man whose friends lowered him through a roof because he could not walk; Jesus saw their faith and said, 'Son, your sins are forgiven.' He did not wait for the man to prove his worth.
He spoke peace before the healing even began. You do not need the buzzing to be held.
You are not a tool that loses value when it sits still. The light that lives inside you does not measure your worth by your utility.
It rests in you simply because you are here. The trembling will pass.
The silence is not empty; it is full of a presence that does not need to be summoned to stay.
