Trade the Performance for Rest
The phone buzzes in your pocket, or maybe it doesn't, and your hand flies to it anyway, terrified of the message that says they saw too much and left. You are performing okayness for the world while breaking inside, waiting for a verdict that you are sure is coming.
But the light does not scan you for flaws to expose; it sees the tears you are hiding and calls them love. You do not need to be perfect to be held, only honest about the weight you carry.
The one who knows everything about you does not condemn you; God is greater than your heart, and He knows the truth beneath the fear. Come to the light, all you who are weary from watching for the exit, and trade the performance for rest.
The bruised reed is not broken, and the smoldering wick is not snuffed out — you are still here, and that is enough.
