The Light That Fills the Empty Space
The phone buzzes in your pocket, a ghost of a touch that isn't there. Your heart leaps, then breaks all over again when you realize the screen is dark.
That hand will not reach out tonight. The silence in the room is heavy enough to crush you, and the space where their warmth used to be feels like a wound that won't close.
But listen — the darkness has not overcome the light that lives inside you. That light was there before the first text, before the first touch, before the first goodbye.
It is not dependent on a signal from the outside. The Father's love is a presence that does not need to vibrate to be real.
It holds you even when no one else can. You are not defined by the empty space beside you.
You are the light that fills it.
