The Light Knows Your Name
The party is over. The house is quiet.
And you are scrolling through the photos on your phone, searching for proof that you were actually there. You see the smiles, the lights, the crowd.
But in every picture, you are a blur. A shadow holding a tray.
A hand pouring a drink. You were the one who made sure everyone else was seen, while you remained invisible.
The mask of the helpful one fits so well you forget you are wearing it. But the light does not need your performance to know you exist.
It saw you when you were serving. It sees you now, alone with the screen.
You do not have to be the center of the photo to be the center of love. The light knows your name, even when the camera only captures your hands.
