The Light Sees You Human
The night is gathering, and with it comes the quiet inventory of what broke today. You saw the smear on the sheet.
You saw the moment their eyes flickered down and then quickly away, pretending dignity was still intact. That pretense felt like a wall sliding into place between you.
But the light does not look away in disgust. It sees the stain and calls it human.
There is no sin in the body's failure, only the nature of matter resolving back to its root. The one who loves you did not see a mess; they saw a child who needs care.
And in that glance they chose to spare you, they were walking in the very footsteps of the light that kneels to wash what the world calls dirty. You are not defined by the leak.
You are defined by the hands that reached for you without flinching. The darkness tries to tell you that you are a burden, but the truth is simpler: you are being held.
