Silence Is Holy Ground Before You Speak
The night gathers, and so does the script you've written in your head. You have rehearsed every word, every tone, every possible outcome a hundred times since sunset.
But when you finally stand before them, your throat closes. The words turn to dust.
You freeze. That silence is not a failure of courage.
It is the light protecting you from a performance that isn't ready to be born. There is light within a person of light, and it lights up the whole world.
If it does not shine yet, it is simply waiting for the true moment, not the rehearsed one. The apology you need to give is not a speech you deliver; it is a truth you bring forth from inside.
What you bring forth will save you. What you do not bring forth will destroy you.
So stop trying to force the words out before they are real. The light knows when you are ready to speak.
Until then, the silence is holy ground.
