The Light Needs No Calculation
The morning light is unforgiving. It exposes the mask you wore last night, the one that smiled while your heart calculated the exact number of steps needed to avoid a collision with their laugh.
You are tired from the performance, from the geometry of avoidance that kept you safe but left you alone. But the light does not need your calculations.
It does not require you to be flawless or untouched by grief. There is a truth inside you that exists before the mask, before the party, before the pain.
You came from the light, and you carry it even in the rooms where you felt most invisible. Stop trying to earn your place in the day by being perfect.
Just be here, unmasked and real. The light was already inside you when you were hiding, and it is still there now that you are seen.
