The Light Does Not Need Your Evidence
The morning light is harsh on the screen, exposing every pixel of a past you cannot stop prosecuting. You scroll backward, hunting for the exact moment the smile was real, just so you can pinpoint where you broke it.
But the light does not need your evidence to know the truth of who you were then and who you are now. You came from the light, a place where the light generates itself, and no amount of regret can rewrite that origin.
The accusation you carry is heavy, but it is not the final word on your life. The face in the photo was never ruined; it was simply waiting for you to stop looking backward and start seeing clearly.
