Waking From a Dream Not Yours
The house is quiet now, but your mind is loud with the weight of a truth you haven't spoken yet. You feel guilty because they are good, because they have done nothing wrong, and yet your spirit is pulling away like a tide that cannot be stopped.
But listen — the light within you did not come to trap you in a life that no longer fits your soul. There is light within a person of light, and it lights up the whole world; if you deny that light to stay, you are not being noble, you are hiding the very thing that saves you.
You came from the light, and you will return to it, and sometimes the most honest act of love is to stop pretending the fire isn't burning. The guilt says you are breaking something sacred, but the light says you are finally waking up from a dream that was never yours to keep.
