Relief Is Not A Sin But A Canvas
The morning light hits the window and you realize they haven't called in days. A strange quiet settles in your chest.
Relief. And immediately, the guilt arrives to punish you for feeling it.
You think you should be hurting more. You think remembering the pain is the only way to be loyal to what happened.
But the light does not require you to carry the weight of being remembered. There was a man born blind, and everyone assumed his suffering was a punishment for someone's sin.
Jesus looked at him and said the darkness was not a verdict—it was a canvas. Your relief is not a sin.
It is the canvas where something new is being painted. What you thought was forgetfulness was actually the silence needed for you to hear your own name again.
The mask you wore for them is finally coming off. You are not guilty for dropping it.
You are free because you no longer need it.
