The Light Rises Whether They Answered
The morning light hits the screen before it hits your face, and you check the silence again. The empty space where a reply should be feels like a verdict, heavy and final.
But the light that rises does not wait for permission to shine, nor does it withdraw when ignored. It simply is.
The kingdom you are searching for is not in that notification bar; it is spread out beneath your feet, hidden in the ordinary dust of this new day. You have been looking outside for a sign of life, forgetting that the life you need is already within you, waiting to be brought forth.
The silence of another person cannot extinguish the fire that was placed inside you before you drew your first breath. What you bring forth from that inner quiet will save you; what you leave buried in the fear of rejection will only consume you.
The sun has risen, whether they answered or not.
