Stop Apologizing for Existing
The morning light hits the room and suddenly your mouth is moving, forming words of sorry for things you never did. It feels safer to shrink, to make yourself small, to apologize for existing than to let anyone see the real you behind the mask.
But listen — the light does not want your performance. It wants your presence.
Jesus stood at the door and knocked, not to demand entry or to judge the state of the house, but simply to come in and eat with you. He does not need an apology.
He needs a door opened. The truth is already walking toward you, not to expose your shame, but to sit at your table.
You are not too broken to be known. You are exactly who the light is looking for.
Stop apologizing for the space you take up. The mask was never required.
The light sees you, and it is enough.
