The Love That Sees Beneath The Mask
The morning light hits the mask you wear, and for a moment, you are terrified it will slip. You worry that if the real you steps out from behind the performance, the room will go quiet and the people you love will turn away.
But the light does not wait for you to be perfect before it sees you — it sees the trembling hand beneath the glove. There is a love that does not need your armor to stay close.
It knows the parts you hide, and it calls them by name. You are not loved for the mask, but in spite of it — or rather, the love is so deep it does not even notice the disguise.
The fear says you will be abandoned if revealed. The truth says you were never hidden to begin with.
