The Light Loves Your Tremor
The morning light hits the kitchen table and you hold your breath again, terrified they might see the tremor in your hands. You have become so good at the mask that even your own family walks right past the shaking.
But the light does not need your stillness to love you. It sees the tremor and calls it human.
There is a truth living inside you that is greater than the verdict your fear delivers. You do not have to prove you are steady to be held.
The light is not waiting for you to stop shaking before it comes in. It is already sitting at the table, watching you pretend, and loving the tremor just as much as the calm.
