The Light Knows You Are Real
The morning light feels harsh when you are wearing a face that isn't yours. You walk into the room smiling, but inside you are holding your breath, waiting for the silence to expose you.
Waiting for them to realize you were faking it. That the person they see is a performance, and the real you is too broken to be loved.
But the light does not wait for your mask to fall. It sees the exhaustion behind the eyes and calls it holy.
There is a truth that lives in us and will be with us forever — a truth that exists before you speak, before you perform, before you try to be enough. You do not have to earn your place in the room.
The light already knows the worst thing about you, and it is still here. Still sitting beside you.
Still calling you friend. The silence you fear is not an accusation.
It is the space where the pretending stops and the being begins.
