rewriting a message you already sent in your head, convinced you sounded desperate or foolish

Editing a ghost you cannot fix

The morning light catches you staring at a screen, rehearsing words you already sent, convinced you sounded foolish. You are editing a ghost, trying to fix a moment that has already passed into the hands of the light.

There was a woman once who stood behind Jesus, weeping, wiping his feet with her hair while the room judged her silence. He did not correct her posture or her tears.

He saw the great love beneath the mess and called it faith. Your anxiety says you exposed too much, but the light sees only the heart that reached out.

The truth that lives in you is greater than the story your fear is telling about this morning. You do not need to rewrite the past to be held by it.
