The Light Sees Behind Your Mask
The mirror shows a face you have carefully arranged for the world today. You rehearse the casual lie, the smooth excuse, the performance of being okay while something inside is quietly screaming.
It is exhausting to hold the mask in place when your hands are shaking. But the light does not need your performance to see you.
It sees the terror behind the smile and the exhaustion behind the nod. Jesus said, 'The truth will set you free' — not the perfect image, but the truth.
You do not have to be the person you are pretending to be. The light is already shining through the cracks in your armor, brighter than any lie you could tell.
You are known, even here, even now, even in the panic of the morning rush.
